1. Core Patterns You’ve Learned

ຕອນນີ້ ທ່ານມີ Core Patterns ເຫຼົ່ານີ້ແລ້ວ.

✅  About Yourself:

✅  Daily Life:

✅  Personal Expression:

Pattern Insight:

English is built by connecting simple patterns—not by memorizing long sentences.

2. Pattern Fuel

ເລືອກຄຳຈາກແຕ່ລະກຸ່ມມາປະກອບເຂົ້າກັນ.

  • Places:  school, work, home, the gym, the park, the market.

  • Activities:  study English, exercise, cook, read books, travel, watch movies.

  • Reasons:  because I enjoy it, because it helps me learn, because it’s important, because it’s relaxing, because it’s useful.

3. Pattern Build

✍️ Step 1 — Complete

1)   I am __________________.

2)  I work __________________.

3)  I usually __________________.

4)  I like __________________.

5)  My goal is __________________.

✍️ Step 2 — Connect

         1)  I work __________________, and I usually __________________.

         2)  I enjoy __________________ because __________________.

         3)  My goal is __________________, so I __________________.

✍️ Step 3 — Build

Write one paragraph (5–6 sentences) about yourself.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

4. Pattern Expansion

Watch one answer grow.

  • Level 1: I study English.

  • Level 2: I study English every day.

  • Level 3: I study English every day because I want to communicate confidently.

  • Level 4: I study English every day because I want to communicate confidently and use English in my future career.

Notice: Each new level adds one new idea, not just more words.  📌 Your Turn: Start with: “I enjoy __________________.” Expand it into 4 levels.

5. Pattern Challenge

Can you combine everything together?

Example:

I work in an office. I usually study English after work because I want to improve my communication skills. My goal is to speak English confidently, so I practice every day.

Your Challenge:

Write your own paragraph (6–8 sentences). Try to use:

✅ I am…

✅ I usually…

✅ I like…

✅ because

✅ and

✅ My goal is…

6. Natural English

Native speakers don’t think one sentence at a time. They think in connected ideas.

Instead of:

  • I study English.

  • I like English.

  • I want a better job.

They often say:

“I study English because I want a better job, and I really enjoy learning new things.”

🎧 Listening Tip:

Listen for connecting words (conjunctions):

  • and
  • but
  • because
  • so

(These small words make conversations flow naturally.)

7. Real Conversation

Situation 1 — Meeting Someone

A: Tell me a little about yourself.

B: I’m an engineer. I work in Vientiane, and I enjoy learning English after work because I want to communicate better. My goal is to work internationally one day.

Situation 2 — Making Friends

A: What do you like doing in your free time?

B: I enjoy reading and traveling. I usually read before bed because it helps me relax, and I love visiting new places whenever I have time.

(Read both conversations aloud three times.)

8. Speaking Challenge

🎤 Speak for one minute without stopping.

Talk about:

  • Yourself
  • Your family
  • Your work or study
  • Your hobbies
  • Your goals

✅ Connect your ideas naturally.

❌ Don’t answer with only one sentence.

9. Stage 2 Reflection

Before moving to Stage 3, ask yourself:

☐ Can I introduce myself naturally?

☐ Can I talk about my daily life?

☐ Can I explain my interests?

☐ Can I describe my goals?

☐ Can I connect several English patterns together?

☐ Can I speak for one minute without translating?

10. Stage 2 Key Lesson Insight

Congratulations! You have completed Stage 2 — Personal Expression. You no longer depend on single English patterns. Now you can connect ideas, explain yourself, and express your real thoughts naturally.

In Stage 3, you will learn how English changes across time—talking about the past, present, and future. This will help your English become even more flexible, accurate, and natural.
